Dolce’s final performance of our Choral year will take place on Tuesday 22nd May at 7pm in St Gabriel’s Church, Clontarf. Dolce will be joined on the night by the Cameron singers and the Raheny Folk Group. So for a great night of music, come along and join us. Admission is free.
St John the Baptist Church on Seafield Road Clontarf is a peach of a venue. Spacious, yet intimate, with lovely cream-coloured brick walls, it has a warm acoustic: bright and clear but without excess echo. Just perfect. Dolce performed Vivaldi’s Gloria and a selection of sacred music in a wonderful concert on Thursday May 10th in St. Andrew’s Church in Westland Row. A great concert last night. Le Voci from Norway were absolutely brilliant, but Dolce rose to the challenge and did very well. Everyone is still ‘buzzing’ from ‘SEE THE GYPSIES’, it worked really well. However, I told Deirdre that if I hear her mentioning Gypsies again ……
