Dolce is now off to Bilbao to celebrate the 10th anniversary of the foundation of the choir (just a little early!) Dolce will join with local choirs in Balmaseda on Saturday 18th October, and will also sing in several places in the Old Town of Bilbao on Friday 17th. Excitement is high!
St John the Baptist Church on Seafield Road Clontarf is a peach of a venue. Spacious, yet intimate, with lovely cream-coloured brick walls, it has a warm acoustic: bright and clear but without excess echo. Just perfect. Rehearsals start at 8pm on Thursday 4th September for our Autumn concert. Rehearsals start on Thursday 23rd October for our Christmas season.

We started back to rehearsals last night and it was great to see everyone again, along with some new members, and it was great to get back to singing again. We started the new term with some warm up exercises before going into our new repertoire. Its going to be a fun term!!
May 2014 will see Dolce travelling to Navan and New Ross Choral Festivals to compete and have some fun with other choirs. Keep an eye out for us there!
