We strive for musical excellence in every piece of music we learn and perform. With each piece we sing we endeavour to provide a performance of exceptional quality, and seek out its musical value that includes interpretation of the text, context of the music, and intent of the music composition to convey emotion.
Our ethos is to provide enjoyable choral singing to our members in a friendly and positive atmosphere with a focus on developing individual vocal techniques and musical literacy, enabling the choir develop in standard and performance.

Is at the heart of everything we do both musically and socially. Touching members’ lives in positive ways is central to who we are and what we do. The atmosphere in rehearsals is collaborative, fun, energetic and disciplined all leading to a great sense of fulfilment with a buzz when they’re complete.
Community
Dolce is a community choir, through our members’ participation in organising the choir and singing together, through inclusivity, shared effort and even through disagreement and disappointments we are building our own Dolce Community. We are strengthened by our openness to new members, by the sharing of work and leadership and by our links to other communities.
