During these difficult times Dolce can’t hold indoor rehearsals but has managed to keep the choir active using Zoom for learning new music and then singing outdoors in secluded woods. On April 23rd 2020 Dolce celebrated its 15th birthday. In the most unusual of circumstances the celebration was held using video conferencing. This did not diminish from the joy of the celebration. The Dolce Christmas concert raised a total of €1175 for the charity Aware. We thank everyone who supported the concert and Bob Laird, chairperson of Dolce, presented the cheque to Drew Flood of Aware. You can find more information about the work of Aware from their website www.aware.ie
Dolce will be performing in the Fingal International Festival of Voices on Saturday 14th March 2020. Dolce will perform two pieces in the sacred music competition.
